About Us
Castle Heights Elementary School is an award-winning, TK through Fifth Grade school located between Cheviot Hills, Beverlywood and Culver City.
CHES was first opened in 1951. Designated as a School for Advanced Studies (SAS) and a California Distinguished School Award winner.
Home to a World Language Program, Spanish, which enrolls monolingual English learners and develops
biliteracy and bicultural understanding. Extensive enrichment programming, including arts, computers, field trips, science, gardening and a wonderfully
stocked library. One of the most culturally rich and socio-economically diverse student bodies in the district. Incredibly strong parent and community involvement. A school calendar packed with fun, family events.
