Astrocamp
One of the highlights of 5th grade at Castle Heights is the annual trip to AstroCamp! Located in Idyllwild, AstroCamp provides students the opportunity for individual exploration and discovery in a camp setting where they learn practical life skills, how to get along with others in a group living situation and forge stronger friendships.

Please complete the following steps to have your child attend Astrocamp:
1. Please attend the Informational meeting on Thursday, December 5th at 7pm.Zoom Information: Zoom ID 517 593 6047 Passcode: PrinBeck2. Fill out the medical form and return to: [email protected]
3. Sign and return a field trip permission slip to your teacher.
4. Take a COVID test on Sunday, January 31 and email results with Student name and teacher to: [email protected]
Payments
The $100 deposit paid in October is non-refundable. The remaining parental responsibility of $250 is generously being paid for by a grant obtained through the hard work of 5th grade teacher, Ms. Lozano. Parents’ remaining balance for Astrocamp is $0!CHES is accepting donations of any amount in lieu of the $250.00 savings per student to use for towards school needs, including school beautification.

Parent chaperones will take and upload photographs from camp on a private page; information will be shared with parents prior to the trip.
